Sang-Hee, a successful commercial director, is a master of manipulation, using his charm and influence to get what he wants out of life. He's a man of few scruples, with a long history of exploiting women who come into his orbit, including actresses who are desperate for work and a young woman he's married for purely practical reasons to secure his position as the heir to her family's business. On the eve of his big day, the culmination of all his plans, Sang-Hee's world is turned on its head. He meets Hye-Ri, a mysterious and enigmatic woman who is not intimidated by his fame or his power.
