Didn't expect this to feel like a pilot for a Japanese anime version of "Rick and Morty." The art style strikes a balance between American and Japanese animation.

After watching so many episodes of Rick and Morty, this is the first one I completely didn't understand 😂

This flick *slaps*.

The anime art style and Japanese voice acting feel a bit strange when watching and listening... In the scene where Morty is on the plane, I noticed a passenger in the back wearing a black sweatshirt with "F·R·I·E·N·D·S" printed on it. Did they intentionally misspell the original English title of "Friends"? 😂

Becoming quite the purist when it comes to romance...

Morty's surreal adventure in Tokyo, Japan, adds a fresh twist to the classic Rick and Morty formula. The Genocider, a character as dark as its name suggests, tests Morty's resolve in a battle of wits. Dark humor and existential crises abound as Morty navigates the neon-lit streets of Tokyo, only to discover that nothing is as straightforward as it seems. A thought-provoking anime crossover that both delights and unsettles, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the next installment of this unhinged duo.
