A movie that feels disjointed and unfocused. On one hand, it strips away the legendary aura of the protagonist, portraying the so-called hero as a tormented and stubborn individual, driven by conscience and swinging from one extreme to another. On the other hand, if you're meant to see him as a hero, the film fails miserably. Beyond the simplistic portrayal of his transformation from thug to saint, and the questionable justification of abandoning his family for a greater cause, the dull and predictable plot progression alone nearly sinks it into the realm of bad movies.
