Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls

Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls is a 1995 American action comedy film directed by Steve Oedekerk and starring Jim Carrey as the titular character. The film is the sequel to Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, another hit from the same year that established Jim Carrey as a leading comedic actor. The story commences with Ace Ventura, the eccentric zoologist, living in an ashram in Tibet where he has been given the moniker "Ramada II" by the order of the monks. After indulging in some extracurricular sex antics with one of the novice monks, Mona, he is summoned by the novice to return to the United States. Mona gives Ace her prized possession, a high-temperature capable yet seemingly temperamental water boiler, before he departs from the ashram. Unbeknownst to Ace, his return to the United States marks the beginning of an extensive adventure in Africa. Aton Kowan, Ace’s chief adversary in the prior film, together with his foreign associate, Vladimir, is searching for a rare species called the Wachati Sacred Animal, also known as Shikaka. If found, Shikaka could possess the ability to sense where and when the location of each and every Wachootoo male is when in Africa. The Wachootoos are in the process of preparing to plunder the peaceful Wachati tribe for their village and possessions after the marriage of Princess Wataka to the leader of the Wachootoos, O.F. 'Mighty' Memnon. Upon realizing the seriousness of the misadventure, Ace arranges for his Zen teacher, Oda, to brief Mona, Ace’s flame from the beginning of the story, about the value and his responsibility in rescuing Shikaka. Oda has several of his American students dress as brides for the event in order to conceal Ace while he infiltrates the region by altering his hairstyle, face, and dress. Upon arrival at the exotic area, Ace quickly sets up a group of helpers including 'Sarong,' the bodyguard and ex-bodyguard of Ace who was present throughout his life in Africa in “Ventura” parts one and “Nature Calls” parts one. Thus far, the group would function as a team acting extremely cooperative in their response, with Ace taking on the disguise of a harmless holy rooster named O’Furry during the period between Ace finally getting together with Mona and receiving the shroud thrown over him and revealing that as "Rambda II of the holy forest Temple" over from his mentor, simply for some added humor and authenticity. That being said 'Shriver and Bobby' the former U.S. underdogs with quite an incredibly stunning knack for crime solving skills were having previous unlisted past communications with Oda a while back over where they can work to join forces in seeking 'Shikaka's' aid. The comedy unfolds with a cast full of supporting and colorful characters, each with their unique traits that will fit into Ace’s plan and play the crucial help Ace needs. There’s Sally Breen, a zealous zoologist who insists that Shikaka has long been extinct; Rondolo, a mischievous boy who constantly hangs out in his favorite hangout at Akola Park; Oda the Monk who wants to be in solitude at times in order to preserve his peace offering to all including his young and still adventurous Ace; Loa, a great anthropologist who is willing to help the journey commence with considerable knowledge of wildlife; O.F. "Mighty" Memnon, loquacious and eccentric elder of Wachootoos; 'Rolf' not an alien but his odd language; Shiva's mother and her eccentric sibling etc. The group follows Lysander, a British detective whose daughter, as well as Shiva had a fascinating adventure together with Akola along with Mona at the end, making, furthering more memorable parts of their comical journey. Through many twists and turns, a wild climax ultimately unfolds. Ace uses the vast knowledge he has accumulated alongside his skilled nature ability that he discovered to outsmart and capture the villainous after finally deducing what his knowledge and instinct told him, the mythical dragon Shikaka’s whereabouts in L’Opulence park nature reserve, its real habitat and its original home in Africa just to be cornered into a cage. Shortly after Shikaka safely takes flight onto the back of Ro’s main group member while Ace then departs accompanied by a very beautiful native of an orphan, a 'mummy of a wife who was truly loved by the tribe; who will later become his very interesting confidant, with memories preserved and loving values they were destined to keep a memory as unique after such past very important memory-finding dates (during a date after finally joining his tribe and helping the rest of them.
