Alien³

Plot

In the aftermath of the devastating events on the alien planet, Ellen Ripley crash-lands on Fiorina 161, a foreboding prison planet designed to serve as a corrections facility for the most hardened and violent offenders. The year is 2179, and Ripley finds herself surrounded by the very men she's spent her entire career detesting - and worse, she's the only woman amidst a sea of scowling men, all hardened by years of incarceration. The atmosphere is tense and volatile, as the rules are clear: no prisoners are allowed to possess any form of personal ammunition, nor are they permitted access to the tools necessary for self-defense. Ripley emerges from the wreckage, wounded and disoriented, carrying the traumatized child, Newt, who had become an innocent pawn in the deadly game of survival on the alien-infested planet. However, their landing craft ignites, engulfing the facility and killing the entire floor of prisoners and guards below. Newt and the sole survivor of the crash, a prison officer known as Clemens, escape, but it soon becomes apparent that the little girl has a preternatural connection to the creatures that attack on the colony. She senses that they're nearby and, in a spectacular turn of events, Newly born "alien facehugger" which hatches an "chestburster alien" quickly emerges from Newt's rear end, before killing officer Clemens. Faced with the mounting body count and the inevitability of meeting her own demise, Ripley discovers something which heightens her paranoia. From what she initially discovers - Fiorina 161 is now her home - in an effort to survive, she seems to sense an unknown threat coming for her. Given that she is an object of hate and often dehumanized in comparison to the prison population, Ripley needs the help of the cunning prisoners to combat her primary enemy: the deadly extraterrestrial life form. Instead of finding allies in the ruthless and unremorseful world within the facility, Ripley initially finds it challenging to carve out a role for herself among the tough inmates. The antagonistic and cold demeanor of the men in this hardened subculture appears intimidating, and she finds it arduous to command respect. However some prisoners show reluctant interest in her past heroic exploits in order to further their own survival. A plan for them to rebuild and fix their hydroelectric power plant begins to take shape. She gains an unlikely ally in a hulking mass-murderer by the name of Dillon. This strong, potentially friendly, prison inmate has an undeniable talent for violence, which subsequently becomes crucial in their fight for self-defense. However, a gruesome accident takes the life of Newt. Newt falls into one of the slaughterhouse's killing pens. Upon entering this gruesome scene where she finds an especially unwholesome environment that results in Newt getting very badly injured. Ripley barely manages to put out the ensuing blaze, only to find Newt's fate etched forever on the ground beneath her foot in that horrifying blood-stain. There is no escape from the vengeful creature that Ripley is certain she will finally encounter within these deadly walls. It grows in size, becomes increasingly audacious and seems bent on murder, driven by an ancient need to nurture young and lay eggs, and destroy anything moving standing in her way. The confrontation between Ripley and her pursuer comes to represent a death-grip of despair. The crew members soon descend into the face to face battle of survival. In the aftermath, the brutal, ruthless creature takes out Clemens, the guards, then it puts hands of ruthless destruction on everyone in any way touching the innocent. However both survivors decide to remain until death in a place deep down within the prison where the creature presumably could not get access to victims once trapped. Upon finding that very dark location in one piece, a powerful "self-locking door" shuts out the relentless creature, momentarily closing the door on a fate at least temporarily sealed.
