He calls upon his old friend Getafix, a Druid from Gaul renowned for his magical potion that grants supernatural strength. Edifis knows that with Getafix's help, he may have a chance to succeed. Getafix, Asterix, and Obelix set out on their perilous journey to Egypt, navigating the treacherous Mediterranean Sea and braving the unforgiving desert landscape. Their mission is to aid Edifis in the construction of the palace and protect him from the Romans who, upon hearing of the project, are determined to sabotage it.
