Debt Collectors

"Debt Collectors" follows the story of Jack (played by Scott Adkins) and his partner, a ruthless debt collector with a talent for getting out of sticky situations. Their jobs involve tracking down those who owe money to wealthy clients, and it often requires more finesse and brawn to convince these lowlifes to pay up. As they navigate the city's underbelly, Jack is introduced to his latest assignment: collecting a debt from a loan shark named Ivan, who has been evasive in his payments. While visiting Ivan's hideout, Jack stumbles upon a high-stakes poker game and gets into an intense confrontation with Ivan. However, before he can get his job done, Jack finds himself in the crosshairs of the ruthless kingpin, Victor Valikov (played by Ross McCall). Valikov's motives for targeting Jack become clear when the latter is seen walking with Jack's sister. Their complicated family relationship comes full circle when Jack finds himself pursued by Victor, who intends to take revenge on the debt collector by hurting those he cares about.
