Kevin, who is an action movie fan, decides to enroll in a secret spy training program at the "Hart" agency, owned by a charismatic and seasoned operative, played by Kevin McNally. Kevin's dreams are short-lived, as he quickly realizes that the agency is nothing more than a training program designed to mold novice actors into believable action heroes. Despite the odds against him, Kevin remains undeterred and decides to push through the challenging training regimen in the hopes of achieving his goal. During his stint at the agency, Kevin is partnered with Reginald Mantle, played by Ryan Hansen, a former child star turned adult actor who has seen better days. As Kevin navigates the agency, he also crosses paths with a seasoned Hollywood actor, played by Josh Hartnett, who serves as a mentor and role model. However, their relationship takes a complicated turn when Kevin uncovers a dark secret about Josh's past that threatens to derail his budding friendship. John Travolta plays a pivotal role as Tom King, a ruthless and cunning villain who poses a formidable threat to Kevin's quest for stardom. Throughout the series, Kevin faces numerous challenges and setbacks as he strives to become a credible action hero. From botched espionage missions to hilariously inept stunts, Kevin's journey is filled with comedic moments and action-packed sequences that showcase his determination and perseverance. As the story unfolds, Kevin finds himself at odds with the agency's true intentions and the nature of his newfound training. With the help of his friends and allies, Kevin must make a choice between following his heart and pursuing his dreams or conforming to the agency's expectations and losing himself in the process. Ultimately, Die Hart is a heartwarming and action-packed comedy that celebrates the underdog spirit and the unwavering dedication required to pursue one's passion.
