Dragon Bruce Lee, Part II

Plot

In the midst of the tumultuous era of Korea's struggle for independence against the Japanese occupation, a young man named Lee Han-saeng emerges as a resilient figure, driven by his unwavering commitment to the cause. As he transports vital funds to further the independence movement, Han-saeng is suddenly confronted with a brutal and fateful encounter with the Japanese military police. In the chaos that ensues, Han-saeng is struck down by a hail of bullets, his legs irreparably shattered. His fate seems all but sealed, but fate has other plans. Thanks to the selfless intervention of Jang Geo-chil, an independence fighter, Han-saeng is nursed back to health in a modest sanctuary. Jang's daughter, the kind-hearted Wan-ah, tends to Han-saeng's wounds with love and devotion. As the wounded Han-saeng recovers, he develops a deep appreciation for the family's kindness and courage. However, their peaceful refuge is soon disrupted when the Japanese police pay a visit to Jang's home, their sinister intentions unmistakable. In a tense and desperate bid to evade capture, Han-saeng and Jang flee to the abode of Wan-ah's uncle. Initially, they trust this relative, unaware of his duplicitous nature. Tragically, their faith is short-lived. The uncle, blinded by his avaricious ambition to collect the substantial reward offered by the Japanese authorities for Han-saeng's capture, betrays them to the police. With their sanctuary compromised, Han-saeng and Jang are forced to flee once more. A crucial haven for the fugitives appears in the shape of kisaeng (traditional Korean courtesan) Ae-hi and her sister, Yu-ha. The sisters harbor a deep-seated longing for revenge against the Japanese police, who are responsible for the brutal murder of their father. Together, they form a strong bond with Han-saeng, united by their shared commitment to the independence movement and their common desire for justice. However, their peaceful lives are once again shattered by the treacherous act of Han-saeng's former uncle, who, driven by his lust for the Japanese reward, reveals their new sanctuary to the authorities. The tragic consequences of the uncle's treachery unfold with heart-wrenching speed. Ae-hi and Yu-ha are captured and killed by the ruthless Japanese police. As Han-saeng struggles to come to terms with this devastating loss, he realizes that the path to revenge has been laid out before him. Confronted with the brutal reality of the situation, Han-saeng makes a vow to avenge his friends and the other fallen independence fighters at the hands of the Japanese oppressors. Jang Geo-chil and his wife meet a similar fate, their courage and conviction ultimately leading to their demise. With their loved ones fallen, Han-saeng finds himself at a crossroads, his resolve strengthened by the unwavering love and sacrifice of those he has lost. A fire burns within him, an unquenchable flame that fuels his pursuit of revenge against the forces of oppression. Driven by his unyielding determination and guided by the memories of his fallen comrades, Han-saeng sets out to exact vengeance on the Japanese authorities who have brought such suffering to his life and to the lives of those he has come to adore.
