Easter Bloody Easter is a horror-comedy film set in a quaint suburban town, where a sense of unease looms over the residents. As the Easter weekend approaches, the town is initially filled with the festive atmosphere that comes with this holiday. However, the tranquility is short-lived as the residents soon discover that they are being stalked by a pack of ruthless, supernatural creatures that embody the most disturbing aspects of Easter's symbolism. At the heart of this chaos is the Jackalope, a monstrosity born from the twisted, nocturnal folklore of North American mythology. This mythical creature is said to possess the physical appearance of an antelope and the ears of a rabbit. Its eyes gleam with malevolent intent as the Jackalope unleashes a group of twisted, evil bunny minions upon the community. These devilish bunnies are not content with merely spreading joy and chocolates. Instead, they revel in bloodlust and chaos, as they embark on a spasm of brutal violence that wreaks havoc across the town. As the Easter-themed carnage escalates, it becomes clear that the residents are in grave danger. The film's protagonist is a determined, resourceful woman named Amy, who finds herself at the forefront of the town's desperate battle for survival. As a symbol of both fertility and sacrifice, the Easter bunny takes on a new, nightmarish form as Amy must protect herself and her loved ones from its deadly clutches. In the early days, whispers of strange occurrences go unheeded as the Jackalope's army multiplies and death starts slowly seep through the cracks of everyday life. On Easter night, a local resident stumbles into the early morning light bearing lacerations and reports that creatures not of the world, some at some times thought to be bunnies in costume are attacking people. Growing unease permeates the community as local and state authorities strain for concrete evidence of any sort of attack or plausible reason for the destruction of Easter. Rumors start drifting around that the killer trio – or a group that would fit that genre at worst case scenario – set ahead for 30 Days and now are a threat waiting to happen. It also becomes evident that there are supernatural predators taking on every form possible from little rabbits over up to devils or demons in rabbit and antelope type. As day becomes night, Amy finally uncovers the source of these manifestations when she confronts an elderly town matriarch, Hazel, who alludes to the story of a cursed ancestor being at the bottom line. They seek refuge in a secure community but the Jackalopes relentlessly pursue, their search leaving Easterly local culture in shambles. Further down the line in the hunt to the source of the killer's Easter past Amy discovers Hazel was accused of being an evil warlock. She is aware Hazel was wrongly accused of it and was put through a procedure with the intent of ridding the world of witchcraft. Unbeknownst to her it comes with the bad consequences that brings out the curses.
