Heathers: The Musical takes place at Westerberg High School, set during the 1980s, where cliques and social hierarchy are at the forefront of the high school experience. The show centers around Veronica Sawyer, an outcast-turned-It-girl who seeks to elevate her status by befriending the most popular kids in school. Veronica's life changes when she becomes part of the popular and powerful Heathers clique, made up of Heather Duke, Heather Chandler, and Heather McNamara.
