Lift

Lift is a 2023 thriller film directed by F. Scott Frazier, renowned for his gripping storytelling and intense action sequences. Ultimately, the movie defies the expectations of a usual heist film, presenting its own twist on conventional plots and instead focusing on character dynamics and development. Whitaker and Amelia come to an acceptance that their respective past traumas which drive their existence are beyond repair, making the future doomed for Cyrus because of that particular conflict. As the film wraps up, the characters that we witness and have been watching all this, depart without saying goodbye - ending abruptly.
