Lock Up
Plot
Here's the plot summary: In the 1989 film "Lock Up," Frank Leone (Sylvester Stallone) is a model prisoner who has been serving time for a relatively minor crime. As he nears the end of his sentence, he is granted parole and expects to be released from the clutches of Warden Drumgoole (Donald Pleasence). However, Drumgoole's appointment at the prison coincides with Leone's impending release, and he has other plans in store for the young convict. Drumgoole is a ruthless and corrupt warden who takes great pleasure in tormenting prisoners. He sees Leone as a thorn in his side, having been assigned to this particular prison after being fired from another institution. Drumgoole is determined to make Leone's life miserable by transferring him to solitary confinement and subjecting him to physical and emotional abuse. As Leone struggles to survive the harsh conditions of the prison, he forms an unlikely alliance with a group of hardened inmates who are also victims of Drumgoole's cruelty. Together, they concoct a plan to take down the sadistic warden and restore some semblance of order to the institution. Throughout his ordeal, Leone must confront his own demons and find ways to assert his dignity in the face of adversity. With the help of his new friends and a healthy dose of determination, he sets out to prove that even the toughest of prisoners can't be broken by the harsh realities of prison life. Will Leone emerge victorious from this battle against the corrupt warden, or will Drumgoole succeed in breaking his spirit?
