Resident Evil: Degeneration

Plot
Resident Evil: Degeneration takes place in 2005, six years after the events of Resident Evil 2. The film follows Leon S. Kennedy, the former Raccoon City police officer who has been working as an agent for the United States government. He is tasked with escorting Ashley Graham, the President's daughter, to a safe location. Upon their arrival, they get into a confrontation with a rogue warrior named Glenn Arlington, who is a former U.S. Marine Corps Special Forces operative. Arlington's true intention is to uncover the truth behind the G-Virus, a deadly virus created by Dr. William Birkin. The G-Virus has the ability to reanimate the dead and is highly contagious. Arlington's past is revealed through a series of flashbacks, where he was severely injured in combat and left for dead. He was later discovered by a private security firm, known as the Umbrella Corporation, who experimented on him and implanted the G-Virus into his body. The G-Virus alters Arlington's body, creating a humanoid figure with superhuman strength and agility. He is now a monstrous entity seeking revenge against the Umbrella Corporation for experimenting on him. Arlington escapes from his restraints and begins his rampage, targeting and slaughtering those connected to Umbrella. Meanwhile, Claire Redfield, the sister of Chris Redfield, is on a mission to investigate a series of mysterious deaths in New Raccoon City, a city built on the site of the previous Raccoon City. She soon discovers that the G-Virus is responsible for the outbreak, and it is spreading rapidly. Claire teams up with a new ally, a young man named Lickers, who has managed to survive the G-Virus outbreak. As Arlington continues his rampage, he unleashes his wrath upon New Raccoon City. Buildings are destroyed, civilians are murdered, and chaos erupts. Leon, Claire, and Lickers soon find themselves facing off against Arlington, who has managed to find his way to the city's train station. The three of them engage in a desperate battle against Arlington, who is determined to destroy everything in his path. Throughout the film, the relationship between Arlington and his creator, Dr. Alexander Irvine, is explored. Irvine's obsession with the G-Virus is evident, as he believes it holds the key to unlocking humanity's true potential. However, Arlington's violent outbursts reveal the true horror of the G-Virus, and the consequences of toying with nature. As the battle between Arlington and the trio reaches its climax, it is revealed that Irvine is behind Arlington's rampage. He had been manipulating Arlington, using his own guilt and anger to fuel the G-Virus's actions. Irvine's plan is to capture and exploit Arlington, but his motives are soon revealed to be more sinister. The film culminates in a final showdown between Arlington and the trio. With the help of a small band of survivors, they manage to defeat Arlington, but not before he suffers a fatal injury. Claire and Leon part ways, having saved the city from the G-Virus outbreak, but knowing that there are more threats on the horizon. Resident Evil: Degeneration is a thrilling, action-packed ride that expands on the Resident Evil universe. With stunning visuals and heart-pumping action sequences, the film provides a gripping narrative that explores the consequences of playing with nature.
