Based on the Given Overview, the movie plot is about a retired elite agent, Lewis, who rescues a 12-year-old Chinese girl named Yang-Ling 'Ning' Wong. Ning had been kidnapped by Triad gang members. After saving Ning, Lewis is suddenly drawn back into the world he had left behind and finds himself caught in the middle of a complex and violent web of organized crime. Ning's younger half-sister, who is also a valuable asset, was taken by the group simultaneously and neither Lewis nor Ning knows what Ning's price is. At first glance, it seems that the Triad has Ning as their hostage. However, Lewis discovers that the situation is much more complicated. Ning's value lies in her resemblance to the daughter of a powerful Triad chief. The opposing force to the Triad is part of an ill-intentioned group consisting of corrupt New York City politicians and high-ranking law enforcement officers. They have aligned themselves with the Russian Mafia. Lewis sets out to find Ning's younger sister in order to save Ning from the groups that want to utilize her for their agendas. Throughout the ordeal Lewis must fend off the aggressive confrontations and attacks of almost every participant in the complicated network of crime, while finding a way to locate Ning’s younger sister. The more complex the situation got, the more twisted it became. Ning and Lewis had grown to enjoy each other's company during their time spent together, their trust for each other became stronger with each passing moment. Their combination became a crucial force to be reckoned with. They began seeing everything as one massive puzzle, rather than distinct and separate factions. They navigated this massive web in search of Ning's little sister. They came upon the surprising revelation that not everyone involved in this large-scale crime network was all bad or else involved with evil intentions. Some were even initially there purely to take part in the high-profit exchange between the parties. The most pressing question for them however was obtaining their most prized target – Ning's younger sister, and extracting all three from this maze of corruption.
