In Texas Chainsaw 3D, Erin Harson, played by Alexandra Daddario, receives an unexpected inheritance from a mysterious grandmother she had never known. Texas seems to hold more than just a dark past; it also contains secrets that some would prefer remained buried. Among the dusty deeds and abandoned properties lies the sprawling Victorian mansion of Harlaston Manor. After finding out that she has inherited Harlaston Manor along with a significant sum of money, Erin's newfound wealth inspires a cross-country road trip to uncover more about her family and the mansion. Accompanied by four friends, Griff Guthry, Patton, Lantz, and Heather, Erin sets out to explore the hidden history that surrounds the manor. While their adventurous spirits fuelled by nostalgia and wanderlust, Erin and her companions encounter an unsettling sense of foreboding during their travels. Local legends involving deceased aboriginals begin to appear mysterious indicators that foretell their doomed fate. Notwithstanding their hesitation and cautious distrust, Erin embarks on a solo return to Harlaston Manor feeling both compelled and anxious to uncover more about her heritage and potential dark past. On her return, Erin gradually begins experiencing haunting visions that seem to grasp the very core of her sanity. After encountering eerie ghostly apparitions, unsettling objects remain afoot, fueling deep anxiety within. Inherently she starts questioning her place among her new surroundings. However the only clue lies within the remote and damp basement of her heritage, which seems to be quietly hiding a terrifying secret. Her inherited Victorian mansion eventually uncovers new clues into a harrowing discovery. Amid the heart-pounding darkness engulfing the grand Victorian home, Erin comes to the sobering realization that a notorious family holds the answer to her haunting experiences. Told by ominous events unfolding, eerie sounds resonate around her living room and eventually leaves her confined within the bleak walls of her newly inherited grand home, it seems that Erin unknowingly awakened the menacing persona responsible for unimaginable massacres in Texas. Later, Erin confronts her macabre reality when witnessing an array of blood-soaked items and an unappeasing set of merciless chainsaws that scream vengeance on anyone who dares to taint a bloody lineage they had so desperately sought to contain. Erin’s past inextricably bounds with the death-drenched horrors left behind by the lunatic families, a perpetual dexterity of bloodlines now relentlessly clings to what looks like an eternally inevitable bloodline. Vicious flashbacks appear hinting at the demented characters responsible for this gruesome game of survival. When forced to resist from walking hand in hand into death, a very dim, determined future stands before her as she finds herself trapped between the desperate confines of a newly blood-soaked property.
