The Hangover Part II

Plot
The Hangover Part II begins with Alan attempting to console Stu, who is anxiously preparing for his upcoming nuptials to Lauren, his fiancée. The trio of Stu, Alan, and Phil are joined by Teddy for Stu's wedding celebrations in Thailand. Lauren wishes to keep things simple and calm, given the disastrous events that transpired during the group's Las Vegas bachelor party. Stu, determined not to veer off track, tries to rein in his friends with a low-key pre-wedding brunch. However, things quickly go awry upon the group's arrival in Bangkok. Stu is persuaded by Alan and Phil to take part in a traditional Thai tattoo ceremony, which involves getting inked with sacred tribal symbols as part of a rite of passage for him to transition into married life. This decision, unbeknownst to Stu, sets off a chain of regrettable events. On the fateful night before the wedding, the group takes a detour and heads to a run-down rooftop bar, where they indulge in a night of unbridled antics. While attempting to navigate the chaotic streets of Bangkok in search of a few last-minute wedding party preparations, Stu is kidnapped by a group of thugs who subject him to a brutal and terrifying tattoo session. Upon waking up the next morning, the friends find themselves in separate locations around the city, each one a puzzle piece in understanding the night's events. The last thing they can remember is celebrating Stu's bachelor party in the back of a Bangkok taxi. With the possibility that Stu may have gone missing, the friends scramble to piece together the previous night's events. In their search for answers and Stu, the group unravels the aftermath of their drunken misadventures. Along the way, Mike Tyson is persuaded to keep the boys in line with a series of comedic warnings about the night ahead. As the mystery deepens and their memories become increasingly hazy, the friends struggle to put together a coherent narrative of the previous night's events. In their frantic search, they stumble upon an eccentric monkey in a Thai zoo and believe it might be connected to their ongoing predicament. A bizarre sequence of events unfolds as the friends try to unravel the mystery of the monkey and Stu. In the end, their extensive search leads them to the after effects of a night they can hardly recall. Jason Mullins, one of Stu's groomsmen, turns up as Stu's potential life mate. They go on a further night and make an enormous mess before sobering up the next morning. With the sun rising, and Bangkok slowly coming back to life, the friends awake in a beautiful monk's temple. In the sanctuary from chaos, the wedding planners reveal that the gang took seven friends to Patpong while Stu got more tattoos and that he was taken off to receive more tattoos on the beach while the rest of the gang enjoyed a time-traveling birthday celebration.
