In a vibrant, LEGO-infused world where plastic bricks come to life, the ordinary LEGO mini-figure Emmet Brickowoski stumbles upon an extraordinary fate. Living a mundane life in the suburban town of Bricksburg, Emmet never imagined that his existence would soon become a crucial part of saving the universe. Accompanied by Wyldstyle and a ragtag group of allies, including a retired superhero named Vitruvius, a martial arts master named MetalBeard, and a hot-shot piloting ninja named Uni-Kitty, Emmet embarks on an epic adventure across various LEGO realms. Their goal is to reach the so-called "THE Piece," a mystical LEGO brick believed to hold the key to stopping Lord Business. As they navigate through treacherous landscapes and puzzles, they begin to unravel the intricate legend of the MasterBuilder, who is prophesied to defeat the Kragle by reassembling the LEGO universe. As they reach their journey's midpoint, tension between Emmet and his companions heightens.
