Mars Needs Moms is a 2011 American science fiction 3D computer-animated film directed by Simon Wells and the first feature film produced by ImageMovers. The movie is an adaptation of the children's book of the same name written by Berkeley Breathed, author of the popular comic strip Bloom County. The film tells the story of Milo Cranshaw, an 11-year-old boy who struggles to connect with his mom, Lainee, who he feels has become overprotective and detached.
