The Land of College Prophets

Plot
In the seemingly idyllic college town of Ashwood, a sense of monotony hangs over its residents. Among them are two disillusioned young men: Tommy, a struggling writer with a caustic attitude, and Rye, a disillusioned community college student trying to find his place in the world. Their days are marked by mundane office jobs and fruitless attempts to break free from the monotony. However, everything changes when a fight over a girl sparks a malevolent force, unleashing a wave of chaos across the town. As more and more civilians succumb to this supernatural influence, Ashwood is rapidly transformed into a scene of pure mayhem. At first, the violence seems disconnected and inexplicable, with ordinary townspeople going on violent rampages without any apparent provocation. As the situation spirals out of control, a mysterious organization known as the College Prophets emerges to confront the evil force threatening the town. The College Prophets, with their long and storied history, have witnessed similar outbreaks before and seem uniquely equipped to handle the crisis. They are a group of highly trained fighters who possess a deep understanding of the supernatural forces at play. Led by an enigmatic figure, a battle-hardened warrior who goes by the name of Preacher (played by a grizzled veteran actor or possibly even a cult figure), the College Prophets launch a valiant effort to save Ashwood from annihilation. With their unwavering dedication to protecting the innocent, the College Prophets embark on a perilous mission to contain and defeat the evil force driving the chaos. As the stakes grow higher, Tommy and Rye find themselves thrust into the midst of the crisis, their mundane lives now irreparably intertwined with the battle against the supernatural force. The two malcontents are drawn to the College Prophets, finding a sense of purpose and belonging in their struggle against a seemingly unstoppable malevolence. Throughout the film, intense action sequences and nightmarish visions heighten the sense of dread, propelling the narrative forward with a breakneck pace. As the College Prophets fight to reclaim the town from the grip of evil, the true nature of the malevolent force begins to emerge, casting a shadow of doubt over the very fabric of reality. Meanwhile, Tommy and Rye are forced to confront their own troubled pasts and confront the dark aspects of their personalities as they attempt to find redemption in the heart of the maelstrom. In the end, the battle between the College Prophets and the evil force threatens to consume the entire town. As Ashwood teeters on the brink of destruction, Tommy and Rye must make a choice between their old lives and their newfound purpose, while Preacher and the College Prophets fight to save their home from utter annihilation. The battle's outcome hangs precariously in the balance, and only time will tell if the College Prophets will emerge victorious, or if the malevolent force will succeed in reducing Ashwood to a charnel house of despair.
